Meet Samantha
Holistic health has been Samantha’s passion for well over a decade. In 2012, after receiving a hypertension diagnosis, she found herself searching for answers outside of the conventional system, where medication was presented as the only option.
Six months after her diagnosis, Samantha was medication-free. More than a decade of hands-on experience later, Rooted & Well was born as a way to empower others to dig deeper and learn about their own unique makeup. After all, we are not created the same, and what works for one person may not work for another—bio-individuality, a concept often overlooked in conventional healthcare.
During Samantha's journey, she discovered a wealth of information she never knew existed—how deeply connected the body’s systems are, how they function together as a whole and how important the microbiomes are. With this understanding, Samantha realized she could not only restore her own health but also help guide others toward optimal well-being.
At Rooted & Well, we view the body’s microbiomes as the foundation of overall health, with a strong focus on the oral and gut microbiome. We approach these systems much like tending a garden: it’s essential to have a diverse range of microbes working together in balance to support and protect the body. For example, an estimated 70–80% of the immune system resides within the gut microbiome alone.

Samantha specializes in gut health, hormone balance, and toxicity, utilizing blood work and functional testing to recognize potential red flags. From there, she creates a comprehensive wellness plan anchored in nutrition, supplements, targeted modalities, and behavioral modifications to better support the whole body. Her approach provides both guidance and measurable results, helping your body work with you—not against you.
